Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to establish individual treatment plans informed by psychosocial evaluations and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Provide therapy sessions to students, utilizing evidence-based practices to address emotional and behavioral challenges.
\n
• Document client progress and maintain up-to-date clinical records, including detailed progress notes that comply with organizational policies and state regulations.
\n
• Engage in regular communication with referring physicians and school personnel to report on patient progress and collaboratively address any emerging concerns.
\n
• Facilitate crisis interventions and counseling for students experiencing acute emotional distress, ensuring immediate support and long-term follow-up as needed.
\n
• Consult with families and support systems to promote understanding and facilitate treatment plans that include parental involvement when appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve students ranging from elementary to high school age, addressing a wide array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and other psychosocial challenges. Your work will not only focus on individual therapy but will also involve enhancing the overall mental health climate within the school community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling is required.
\n
• Active Washington state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory.

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, particularly with children and adolescents, is essential.

• Demonstrated proficiency in electronic medical record systems and MS Office applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.

• Ability to work autonomously while being highly organized and self-motivated.

Preferred Experience\n

In addition to the required qualifications, candidates with experience in telehealth therapy models, school-based counseling, or evidence-based practices such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) will be prioritized.

Compensation and Benefits\n
