Role Description The Service Advisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Greater Houston. The Service Advisor serves as the main point of contact between customers and the repair team, greeting customers, listening to concerns, and accurately documenting vehicle issues. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing repair orders, explaining recommended services, providing clear cost and time estimates, and coordinating work with technicians to ensure timely completion. The role involves maintaining regular communication with customers about status updates, answering questions, and reviewing invoices before vehicle delivery. The Service Advisor also supports aftersales activities such as scheduling follow-up services, addressing post-service concerns, and promoting maintenance plans and specials in a professional, customer-centered manner. Qualifications Strong customer-focused service skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a commitment to building trust and long-term relationships. Ability to deliver Customer-focused Service and effective Aftersales support, ensuring clear explanations of repairs, costs, and maintenance recommendations. Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with customers, technicians, and team members. Experience in automotive service advising or a related customer-facing role in the auto industry is preferred. Basic understanding of automotive systems and terminology, with the ability to learn and explain technical information in accessible language. Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple service tickets and customer interactions simultaneously. Comfort using service management software, scheduling tools, and standard office applications. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or customer service training is an advantage.
