Member Service Representative

The State College YMCA is currently accepting applications for Member Service Representatives who will be responsible for ensuring that all interactions with Y members, potential members, and guests are conducted in a warm, friendly, and efficient manner. Part-time positions are available with various shifts throughout the week. Primary Responsibilities Remain attentive and aware to greet everyone that enters the facility. Preserve the security and maintain the cleanliness of the front desk/reception area. Process memberships, guest passes, and other program sales utilizing the DAXKO Operations system. Keep proper reconciliation and close-out of shift transactions, including balancing the cash drawer at the desk area. Answer the telephone in a polite and courteous manner. Provide tours and information about Y facilities and programming to prospective members. Study and be aware of all written materials published by the Y, including the Member Handbook, brochures, flyers, etc. and be prepared to communicate information to the general public. Qualifications High School Diploma Proficient computer skills including, but not limited to, Excel, Word, and web-based operating systems. Salary/Benefits $12/hour 403b Retirement Program.
