Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand and evaluate clients’ needs and challenges, paving the way for tailored treatment plans.

• Implement effective therapeutic strategies based on evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to address varying levels of mental health conditions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic support groups, fostering community connection and shared experiences among participants.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure comprehensive patient care and support.

• Provide crisis intervention services and emergency support for clients experiencing acute mental health challenges.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and connect them to relevant community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical standards, and organizational policies.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and other professional development initiatives to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals, couples, and families dealing with a variety of mental health issues. Our clients come from different backgrounds and age groups, each requiring a tailored approach to therapy that respects their unique experiences and supports their journey to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and effective treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.

• A proficient ability to provide both individual and group therapy to a diverse demographics.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members.

• Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain professional ethics in all aspects of care.

• Competence in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and related software.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
