Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive intakes, assessments, and evaluations to gauge clients' mental health status and needs.

• Delivering individual therapy sessions to adult clients, employing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques.

• Responding to crisis situations with appropriate intervention strategies to ensure client safety and stability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will primarily consist of adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and relationship conflicts. You will have the autonomy to choose among various therapeutic modalities, ensuring each client's treatment aligns with their individual preferences and overall life goals.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R (LCSW-R), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster supportive and trusting relationships with clients.

• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to effectively manage caseloads and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in a clinical setting providing therapy to adults and familiarity with telehealth technologies are preferred. Knowledge of various counseling modalities and adaptive treatment strategies is a plus, as is a commitment to evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
