Warehouse Supervisor

This position will directly supervise up to 30 unionized employees on rotating shifts. Detailed roles and responsibilities include supervising and coordinating loading/unloading operations, assigning duties, maintaining a high level of interaction with all associates, developing weekly labor schedules, enforcing company policies, maintaining a continuous improvement philosophy, picking and staging of outbound shipments, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment, ensuring the optimal utilization of space through warehouse consolidation, maintaining a clean, neat and orderly work area, leading operations in a way that promotes safety, assuring the integrity of the inventory, producing and analyzing reports related to warehouse and distribution, and being responsible for the security of the building when acting as supervisor in charge. Rotating shifts and reasonable overtime (including some weekends) required.

Minimum three years of supervisory experience in a high volume warehouse, 4-year degree highly desirable. Experience in a union environment preferred. Experience with consumer product goods / retail distribution preferred. Successful communication - written and verbal. Ability to establish priorities and multi-task. Experience with personal computers and materials handling equipment. Ability to understand, produce and explain reports.

Education requirements include at least 1 year experience working in an industrial setting preferred MS Office (Word / Excel / Email) a must! Must be able to work weekends, overtime and rotating shifts Excellent Communication Skills.

Location of role: Baltimore, MD Salary pay range: $62,500 - $115,500 plus bonus. The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on the candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
