Senior Associate Scientist, Neuroscience Discovery Biology

Senior Associate Scientist position within the Neuroscience Therapeutic Research Center focused on discovery biology for neurodegenerative, neuromuscular, and neuropsychiatric diseases. The role involves designing and executing in vitro experiments, developing novel assays, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to advance neuroscience programs.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute in vitro and ex vivo experiments for target validation and mechanism of action studies
- Develop and optimize novel disease models and translational research assays
- Generate high-quality data packages and communicate findings to project and functional leadership
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across biology, chemistry, DMPK, and computational biology
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and propose innovative solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of academic or industry research experience
- Master's degree with 2+ years of academic or industry research experience
- Proficiency with human iPSC-derived cells and advanced cellular techniques
- Experience with transcriptomics, immunoassays, and high-content imaging methods
- Ability to independently design, execute, and analyze in vitro and ex vivo experiments
- Strong data analysis and scientific communication skills
Compensation: $105,040 - $127,287
