Senior Manager Sales Compensation

About this position Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system. About the role Senior Sales Compensation Manager – You will collaborate closely with sales leadership and key cross‑functional partners to stand up reporting and operating cadences, define sales policies, and build and execute sales incentive programs. The role supports the rapidly growing sales organization, drives revenue through strategic compensation insights, and maintains day‑to‑day operations of incentive programs. This position will be based in the office and require presence up to three times per week depending on location. What you will do Perform complex analytics, data modeling, and calculations related to sales commissions, incentive programs, accruals, projections, and effectiveness. Lead activities related to sales compensation governance, performance, and progress toward strategic objectives. Manage day‑to‑day ad‑hoc data analysis, operational cadences, tool maintenance, and exception reporting. Develop written processes, policies, and operational playbooks to manage all sales compensation activities. Create and maintain standards, processes, reports, dashboards, and analytical tooling. Develop compensation models that provide insights to drive decision making and strategic initiatives. Perform analysis to support program development, structure design, and payout modeling. Lead change management and enablement processes, assessing strategic or operational changes to incentives and ensuring alignment between the organization and leadership. What you will need 5+ years of work experience in Sales Compensation, Strategy, Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Ability to write and maintain complex SQL in a changing environment. A deep understanding of sales compensation at a growth‑stage company and the connections between GTM, Finance, and Legal. A demonstrated track record of creating and implementing sales incentive programs that drove revenue growth. Experience working with senior leaders from Sales, Finance, and Legal. Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy in a fast‑moving startup or hyper‑growth environment. Salesforce administration or developer experience and DBT experience is a plus. This role will receive a competitive salary, benefits, and equity. The salary for US‑based employees will align with one of the ranges listed below based on location. A variety of factors, including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location, are considered when determining compensation.
