Litigation Paralegal - Personal Injury / Medical Malpractice Schedule: Hybrid - Monday through Thursday in office, Friday remote Employment Type: Full-Time A well-established plaintiff-side personal injury law firm in New York City is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team. The firm handles sophisticated personal injury matters, including medical malpractice, construction accidents, serious personal injury, and wrongful death cases . The ideal candidate will have medical malpractice litigation experience , although candidates with strong plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience will also be considered. The firm is known for its stability and collaborative environment, with many employees building careers there spanning 20+ years. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with plaintiff-side personal injury and medical malpractice matters Manage cases throughout the litigation process Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery responses, correspondence, and other legal documents Obtain, organize, review, and summarize medical records Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and court dates Assist with discovery and document production Coordinate with clients, medical providers, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel Assist attorneys with deposition and trial preparation Prepare exhibits, trial materials, and case-related documentation Monitor cases to ensure deadlines and filing requirements are met Communicate regularly with clients regarding case-related information and documentation Provide additional litigation support to attorneys as needed Qualifications Prior personal injury litigation paralegal experience required Medical malpractice experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of the New York litigation process Experience reviewing and organizing medical records Strong drafting, proofreading, and document-management skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable communicating directly with clients, attorneys, medical providers, and other parties Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of the legal team Why Consider This Opportunity?
