Accounting Manager

Looking for candidates with: At least 5+ years of progressive experience and 1+ year of experience as a Supervisor or Manager We are a growing small-to-mid-size company in the Baltimore area seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead day-to-day accounting operations and support leadership with accurate, timely financial reporting. What you'll do Own the month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations Manage general ledger, AP, AR, and payroll coordination Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages for leadership Maintain and improve internal controls, processes, and documentation Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning Supervise and develop 1-3 accounting staff Partner with external CPA firm on tax and year-end support What we're looking for 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 1+ year in a supervisory or manager role Strong GAAP knowledge and full-cycle close ownership Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Experience in a small or mid-size company environment where you wear multiple hats Proficiency with accounting software; strong Excel CPA or CPA-track a plus, not required Why this role High visibility with ownership and leadership Broad scope: this is a hands-on seat with real influence over process and reporting, not a narrow corporate lane Competitive salary, benefits, and growth as the company scales #J-18808-Ljbffr
