Maintenance Mechanic Lead Class 3

Our facility in Schuylkill Haven is converting to a cheese plant producing cottage cheese and sour cream in 2026. We are looking for dedicated and qualified workers to be a part of our team.

Level 3: Advanced Lead Technician (Technician III)
This level represents the highest degree of technical expertise, focusing on troubleshooting automation, control systems, and process optimization.
- Automation and PLC Expertise:
- Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) operations troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley).
- Experience with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) operation and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP,).
- Advanced Electrical and Controls:
- Assist Plant Engineer with implementation of electrical control panel upgrades and replacements.
- VFD and servo drive troubleshooting and replacement.
- Advanced troubleshooting of robotics and complex automated packaging systems.
- System Integration and Optimization:
- Ability to assist the PEM with integrating new machinery with existing production lines and control systems.
- Data analysis from control systems to identify and correct process bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
- Experience with process control loop tuning (PID controllers).
- Involvement in the commissioning of new equipment and control systems.
- Leadership and Training:
- Mentoring and training Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.
- Leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major equipment failures.
- Assist the Plant Engineer and work with contractors and vendors on specialized projects.
