Account Executive

Account ExecutiveAn established and rapidly growing clinical laboratory organization is seeking a high-energy Account Executive to help expand its physician client base across Northern Ohio.In this field-based role, you'll be responsible for selling a comprehensive menu of clinical, molecular, microbiology, cytology, and anatomic pathology testing, along with supporting I.T. solutions. You'll act as a key liaison between new clients and the lab, ensuring smooth onboarding, ongoing service, and long-term retention.Key Responsibilities:Prospect physician offices and healthcare practices and manage leads through the full sales cycleSell diagnostic testing and related I.T. offerings to specialties such as Ob/Gyn, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, and UrologyBuild relationships with key staff (Physicians, MAs, Office Managers, DONs) and earn their trust to capture new businessCollaborate with sales leadership to close high-value opportunitiesManage onboarding, setup, and account integration with internal teamsMaintain your book of business and ensure clients are supported post-saleForecast new business monthly and provide regular updates to leadershipMonitor client billing and resolve any issues related to missing information (MI) or account agingKeep detailed and timely activity records in CRMActively participate in company quality improvement initiativesTake ownership of professional growth and sales developmentRequirements:Bachelor's degree preferred35 years of sales or account management experience in clinical lab services or anatomic pathology preferredStrong communication and presentation skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and CRM toolsValid driver's license and clean driving record requiredMust thrive in a competitive, fast-paced environment and enjoy relationship-based sellingBenefits Include:Base salary + uncapped commission structureFull benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTOBroad, competitive test menu across all major specialties
