Security Officer Access Control Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Access Control Patrol Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location where you will help manage access control, verify credentials, and support site entry procedures while providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in job state. In this role, you will represent our agile, reliable, and innovative team, putting people first and acting with integrity in all security-related interactions.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Maintain accurate access logs, visitor records, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures and regulatory expectations for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and access control points, with attention to changing conditions across the site.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Candidates must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and a rustic guard shack.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
