Job Description

As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Sulphur, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations, remaining alert to unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and/or potential hazards common to an industrial location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, equipment zones, and/or controlled sections of the property.
Support site operations by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, contractors, and/or first responders during routine activity and incident response.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A TSA issued TWIC is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
