Description Key Responsibilities

• Analyze test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Support specimen collection processes and accurately prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Maintain meticulous records of all procedures, assist in training new staff or students, and ensure adherence to laboratory quality protocols.
• Uphold a clean, safe work environment, and comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Certification granted by ASCP or AMT Board in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification is required throughout your employment.
