Decofinish brings Italian design and craftsmanship to some of the most exclusive spaces in South Florida. As the US distributor of OIKOS, a leading Italian manufacturer of premium, water-based and eco-friendly decorative finishes, we have spent more than 20 years working on high-end projects: luxury residences, flagship stores for world-renowned fashion brands, and spaces designed by top architects and interior designers.
We are a close-knit team with big plans for growth, and we are looking for someone to grow with us.
About the role
You will be the face of our showroom: the first person our clients meet and the one who keeps our day-to-day running smoothly. You will work with architects, designers and contractors, and learn about Italian decorative finishes. This is a role with real room to grow as the company expands.
What you’ll do
Customer service
- Welcome and assist clients at our showroom
- Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages and emails from clients
- Prepare and coordinate samples, deliveries and shipments
Administration (QuickBooks Online)
- Support the team in preparing estimates and quotes
- Invoicing and follow-up on payments
- Pay vendors and bills on time
- Record orders and support inventory control
- Prepare simple reports
Operations & marketing support
- Handle paperwork for new projects, such as insurance certificates for buildings
- Update products on our online marketplace
- Help organize training sessions for applicators and contractors
- Keep client information up to date in our CRM
- Support social media posts and marketing campaigns
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience in customer service, ideally in a showroom or in luxury, design or building materials
- Organized, detail-oriented and reliable with deadlines
- Comfortable with digital tools and eager to learn new systems
- Friendly, proactive and able to switch between tasks
- A genuine interest in design and beautiful spaces
Nice to have
- Knowledge of paints, finishes or construction
- Experience with social media or marketing
What we offer
- Pay: $20 – $22 per hour, based on experience
- Paid weekly
- Full-time schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
