Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to identify client needs, creating personalized treatment plans based on their unique circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, couple, family, and group counseling, aimed at achieving tangible progress for clients.

• Employ a diverse range of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy tailored specifically for the client’s situation.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, regularly convening with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations pertinent to counseling practice.

• Stay current with advancements in the field of mental health by engaging in professional development opportunities, such as workshops and training sessions.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services, preferably in an outpatient or clinical setting.
