As key support for approximately 24 students in inclusion classes, you’ll collaborate with general education teachers to develop and adapt lesson plans, promote positive classroom management, and ensure each student receives tailored educational services.

This position requires a Texas Certified Special Education Teacher and offers the flexibility of an immediate start, extending through May 21, 2027. With a consistent 37.5-hour workweek over five days, you’ll make a meaningful impact while enjoying a steady schedule. Compensation ranges from $32 to $38 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Special Education Teacher certification (required)
• Experience with K-8 special education students preferred
• Strong knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and IEP development
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, families, and administration
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Commitment to fostering a nurturing, adaptive, and inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction within inclusion classrooms
• Support approximately 24 students with differing abilities and needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with colleagues and families
• Adapt curriculum and utilize differentiated instructional strategies
• Collect data and track student progress, providing regular feedback
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold district/state compliance
