Senior Asset Management AnalystWe are seeking an experienced Senior Asset Management Analyst to support a corporate accounting and finance team responsible for managing fixed assets and lease accounting activities. This role will focus on maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, supporting audits, and driving process improvements related to asset management. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working with large asset portfolios, improving financial processes, and collaborating across multiple departments including Finance, Procurement, Operations, and IT.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and manage fixed asset accounting records and asset registersRecord asset acquisitions, transfers, retirements, and disposalsPerform depreciation calculations and ensure accurate capitalization of assetsSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activitiesPrepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reportsAssist with lease accounting administration and leased asset trackingConduct asset audits and investigate discrepanciesSupport budgeting and forecasting related to capital expenditurePrepare management reports and variance analysisPartner with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate asset tracking and complianceSupport internal and external audit requestsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencyMaintain compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
