Purchasing Administrator

Position Purpose This position is primarily responsible for management of all purchasing reporting for all levels within the business (KPI reports, Weekly Reports, Monthly Reports), supporting continuous improvement and development of reporting to improve efficiency. Additionally, the role is responsible for providing ad-hoc support to the purchasing function to meet the business needs including activities such as but not limited to requisition raising, RFQ support, change management support etc. Position Type Temporary, Exempt Benefits and Other Compensation JCB offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401 (k) retirement plan; paid time off and paid holidays. Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities Management of all purchasing related reporting – KPI reports (Weekly & Monthly), Cost Management Reports, Change Management reporting and ad hoc reporting as required. Lead improvement of reporting to support on-going continuous improvement initiatives and efficiency gains. Support the Purchase Manager and Buyers in their daily operations where required i.e.: issuing Purchase Orders, resolving invoice disputes, administer mail management, support resolution of receiving issues and other ad hoc tasks. Provide additional purchasing support through pulling drawings, following up on RFQ's, PPAP deliveries, running data reports for analysis, reviewing technical drawings for issuance to suppliers, coordinating department forms and procedures. Assist in supporting the purchasing team in changing management of PI introductions & ensure active communication to the business on status Interact with internal customers in Engineering, Production Control, Marketing, Manufacturing, Senior Buyer, JCB Management and external customers such as suppliers, etc. Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma Must possess at minimum intermediate MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and SAP MRP skills Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law. Preferred Qualifications 3- years of experience in a manufacturing environment and a basic understanding of the purchasing, quality, and logistics functions. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in a high-stress environment. Detail-oriented and able to work independently. Collaborative approach to resolving issues impacting various groups across the enterprise. Ability to understand processes (system and non-system), troubleshoot, develop, and recommend solutions. Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and be a self-motivated team player. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft Project.
