Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Enlightened Essence Counseling Center, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the specific needs of clients and formulate appropriate clinical diagnoses.

• Developing, implementing, and reviewing individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices and client goals.
\n
• Providing therapeutic interventions through individual therapy sessions, group therapy, or family therapy, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy.

• Utilizing crisis intervention strategies for clients in acute distress, effectively stabilizing situations, and providing necessary support and referrals.
\n
• Maintaining and managing meticulous client documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care that meets the holistic needs of clients.
\n
• Educating clients and clients’ support systems about mental health conditions, enhancing awareness of treatment options, and advocating for necessary resources and rights.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay current on best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work closely with a diverse population of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Your ability to provide culturally competent care and adapt treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client will be crucial in promoting positive therapy outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, LCSW-C) in the state of Kansas.

• A Master's degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment, formulation of treatment plans, and therapeutic techniques.

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and engage effectively with clients and their families.

• Capability to work autonomously while being a proactive team collaborator.

• A strong commitment to ethical practices and professional standards.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing telehealth services is preferred.
