Accounts Payable Specialist

Temp-to-Hire Opportunity A growing manufacturing company in Woodstock, GA is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team. Key Responsibilities Process high-volume vendor invoices and purchase orders Perform PO matching and invoice reconciliation Research and resolve vendor payment discrepancies Support month-end close activities and account reconciliations Maintain accurate AP records and vendor information Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoices and payments Assist with aging payables and backlog resolution Ensure timely and accurate payment processing Qualifications 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience Experience with invoice processing, reconciliations, and vendor management Strong data entry and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/ERP software Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and customer service skills Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred ERP experience such as SAP, Epicor, JDE, MRP, or similar systems is a plus Flexible start time between 7:00 AM–8:00 AM Up to 32 hours/week Fridays off Potential hybrid flexibility after training Medical, dental, and vision benefits available upon permanent hire Company Culture This organization values teamwork, communication, and employee support.
