Exciting contract opportunities are available for experienced School Psychologists to support students across a broad age range, from early childhood through young adulthood. This position runs through June 18, 2027, with both full-time and part-time schedules available—though full-time availability is highly preferred.

Candidates will play a key role in supporting student well-being within school environments, sharing expertise with educators, administrators, and families, and directly contributing to positive educational outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• Current Rhode Island School Psychologist certification (RIDE 5403)
• Demonstrated experience or training in assessments, counseling, and school-based interventions
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, working well with interdisciplinary teams
• Flexibility to adjust responsibilities according to the specific needs of a school or program

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students ages 3–21
• Support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and determine eligibility for services
• Provide counseling and behavioral consultation to students individually or in groups
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, related service providers, and families to foster supportive learning environments
• Offer crisis intervention, data collection, progress monitoring, and other services as needed
• Provide ongoing consultation on intervention planning and monitoring student progress to ensure effectiveness
