This contract opportunity invites dedicated School Psychologists to work with individuals ages 3-21, supporting schools in the Providence area during the 2026-2027 academic year and beyond. With the flexibility of part-time or full-time hours (full-time is preferred), you can tailor your schedule while contributing vital services that shape students’ lives.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Current, valid Rhode Island School Psychologist certification (RIDE 5403)
• Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments in a school setting
• Strong background in counseling, behavioral interventions, and student support
• Collaborative communication style with ability to work alongside educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Skilled in IEP development, eligibility determination, and data-driven decision making
• Ability to manage crisis situations and implement effective intervention plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer assessments to inform educational programming and eligibility
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering insight and guidance for student needs
• Provide direct counseling and behavioral supports to students
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress and effective interventions
• Monitor student outcomes, maintain data records, and conduct regular progress reviews
• Respond to crises and assist with schoolwide student support initiatives as needed
