As a School Psychologist, you’ll work collaboratively with school staff to ensure student success, enjoying a balance of responsibilities that keep each day fresh and meaningful. Full-time scheduling is preferred, though part-time flexibility can be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited School Psychology program
• Current Rhode Island (RIDE 5403) School Psychologist certification
• Experience supporting special education eligibility, IEPs, and student evaluations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teamwork
• Commitment to data-driven decision making and student-centered interventions
• Compassionate, adaptable, and ready to serve a diverse school community

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments, behavioral evaluations, and eligibility determinations
• Develop and support implementation of IEPs in collaboration with school teams
• Provide direct counseling, crisis response, and behavioral support to students
• Consult with families, teachers, administrators, and related providers regarding student needs
• Monitor student progress, gather intervention data, and contribute to data-informed planning
• Participate in student intervention and support teams, and assist with crisis intervention as needed
• Adapt role based on school-specific programming and student population
