Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent)
• Extensive experience with General Ultrasound imaging modalities
• Proficient in producing quality diagnostic images and recognizing normal and abnormal imaging findings
• Familiarity with safety procedures and infection control standards in a clinical setting
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide clear explanations to patients
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging environment preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of general ultrasound examinations
• Explain procedures and address questions or concerns from patients prior to imaging
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to interpret and deliver accurate results
• Document imaging procedures and maintain patient records according to established protocols
• Maintain equipment by performing regular quality checks and arranging maintenance as needed
• Uphold confidentiality and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies
• Support a collaborative and efficient department workflow
