Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations, assessing their health history to establish effective treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, exercises, and advanced therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, constantly aiming to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on prescribed exercises, proper use of assistive devices, and home exercise programs to maximize autonomy and facilitate independence.
• Document patient treatments, progress, and responses consistently to inform future care strategies and ensure accurate medical records.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care, linking physical therapy goals with overall patient health objectives.
• Stay current with best practices in physical therapy through participation in professional development opportunities such as workshops and seminars.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will cater to a diverse patient population, including children recovering from sports injuries, adults rehabilitating from surgical procedures, and seniors working to maintain functional mobility. The scope of care encompasses various diagnoses, from orthopedic conditions to neurological disorders, allowing you to apply a range of therapeutic techniques and interventions.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• A valid and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively educate and engage with patients and team members.
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and common computer software to document patient interactions and maintain accurate records.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining high standards of practice.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, although recent graduates with remarkable clinical rotations are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience working in a rehabilitation facility setting is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing effectively to collaborative care.

Compensation and Benefits
