Job Description Job Description Law Firm Intake Coordinator Position Overview The Intake Coordinator is the first point of contact for prospective clients and plays a critical role in the client experience. This position is responsible for handling incoming calls, gathering case information, screening potential cases, and ensuring that qualified matters are promptly routed to attorneys or legal staff. The ideal candidate is organized, empathetic, and able to work in a fast-paced legal environment. Key Responsibilities * Answer and manage incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries from potential clients * Conduct initial client interviews and collect relevant information regarding potential legal claims * Evaluate potential cases based on firm guidelines and criteria * Accurately enter and maintain client information in the firm's case management system * Schedule consultations with attorneys or paralegals * Follow up with prospective clients regarding documentation and case status * Maintain detailed notes of all communications with potential clients * Ensure confidentiality of all client information * Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff regarding new case evaluations * Assist with tracking and reporting new case leads and referral sources Qualifications * Prior experience in a law firm intake, legal assistant, or client service role preferred * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software * Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment Preferred Skills * Experience with personal injury or litigation cases * Familiarity with legal terminology and case screening * Experience using CRM or legal intake software * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Work Environment * Professional office setting * High-volume phone and client interaction * Collaborative team environment supporting attorneys and legal staff Company Description We are a fast paced, personal injury law firm located in Southfield, Michigan.
