Details Work in a 70-bed Level IV NICU at a 153-bed children's hospital Patient population includes premature infants and neonates with diagnoses such as RDS, chronic lung disease, and post-surgical conditions Equipment used includes oscillator, Bunnell Jet, Draeger, NOx Box INO, ABG (GEM), Bubble CPAP, and HHFNC EMR: Epic (required) 12-hour night shifts Every other weekend rotation required, with the option to work additional weekends No on-call requirements Requirements Current RRT credential Active WA state Respiratory Therapist license required — license must be in hand or have documented proof of application submitted 6+ weeks prior (license required if applicable) Current certifications: NRP and BLS Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level III or IV NICU Proficiency with oscillator, Bunnell Jet, Draeger, NOx Box INO, ABG (GEM), Bubble CPAP, and HHFNC Epic experience required First-time travelers considered with a minimum of 5 years total RT experience and at least 2 recent years in a Level III or IV NICU Two supervisor-level references required prior to start; one reference may be submitted at time of consideration Additional Information Provide respiratory therapy services to critically ill neonatal patients including those with prematurity, RDS, chronic lung disease, and surgical needs Scrubs of any color are acceptable, except maroon or spice American Traveler Job ID #P-707172L.
