VP of NPI (Semiconductors)

Role Lead the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle for semiconductor capital equipment platforms from concept development through customer qualification, manufacturing transfer, and high-volume production ramp. Drive cross-functional execution across engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, manufacturing, and field service to ensure successful product launches that meet performance, cost, schedule, and reliability targets. Oversee product industrialization activities including prototype builds, systems integration, DFM/DFA initiatives, supplier readiness, manufacturing scalability, and operational ramp strategies for complex semiconductor equipment systems. Partner with strategic semiconductor customers to support technology roadmap alignment, tool qualification, factory integration, and resolution of technical and operational issues during early production deployments. Establish KPI-driven NPI governance processes, risk management frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize time-to-market, product quality, manufacturing readiness, and customer satisfaction across the entire product introduction spectrum. Qualifications Proven experience leading end-to-end NPI execution for complex semiconductor capital equipment systems, including product development, manufacturing transfer, customer qualification, and production ramp. Deep expertise in cross-functional leadership across engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing within high-precision, high-reliability equipment environments. Strong background driving operational scalability, supplier readiness, systems integration, and manufacturing process improvements for advanced semiconductor technologies and platforms.
