Sealmaster is seeking a skilled, dependable Mechanic / Industrial Equipment Service Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on position responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment, rental fleet equipment, and customer machinery.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting problems, working with their hands, and figuring out what it takes to get equipment running again. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, and a positive, customer-focused attitude.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial, construction and heavy equipment.
• Repair and maintain our rental equipment fleet .
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems .
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems .
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel burners .
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and equipment documentation.
• Perform welding and metal fabrication as needed.
• Assemble new machinery according to specifications and ensure proper alignment and operation.
• Safely operate fork lifts and other equipment as required during repair and maintenance work.
• Make field service calls to diagnose and repair customer equipment when needed.
• Work directly with customers to troubleshoot equipment problems and identify solutions.
• Train customers on the safe and proper operation of equipment.
• Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Adapt to changing priorities and pitch in wherever needed to keep operations moving.
• Work overtime when necessary to support customer and business needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven mechanical repair experience, preferably with industrial, construction, rental, or heavy equipment .
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals .
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals .
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Welding and basic metal fabrication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to diagnose equipment problems logically and efficiently.
• Must provide the mechanic’s tools required for the trade .
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL preferred, but not required.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
