Are you an experienced billing or client accounting professional eager to step into a dynamic leadership role? Join our bustling Seattle office as a Client Account Manager, where you'll oversee a talented team, streamline billing processes, and serve as a trusted partner to attorneys and firm leadership. This hybrid position combines team leadership, client service excellence, and operational management, offering a unique opportunity to grow your career within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
What You Bring to the Table:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent professional experience
At least 5 years of progressive experience in billing, client accounting, collections, or financial operations, preferably within a law firm or professional services setting
Previous supervisory or leadership experience with a proven ability to coach, mentor, and motivate teams
Familiarity with financial management systems; knowledge of Aderant (Classic, Expert, and Bill Blast) is a plus
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build productive relationships at all organization levels
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion in handling confidential information
Additional Skills That Shine:
Experience working with electronic billing and rate management systems
Track record of process improvements and operational efficiencies
Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and foster strong internal relationships
Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Accounting, Finance, Business)
5+ years of relevant experience, with prior leadership responsibilities in billing or client accounting
Other Requirements:
Hybrid work schedule with in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday in Seattle, allowing remote flexibility on Monday and Friday
Prior experience with law firm billing environments is highly desirable
