This position offers you the chance to work with a diverse array of clients, addressing their unique needs by providing effective outpatient therapy complemented by occasional inpatient care. • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to establish cohesive strategies for patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond the therapy room.
  • Provide sporadic inpatient evaluations and interventions to maintain seamless continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation process.
  • Document patient progress and therapy sessions accurately, adhering to state, federal, and organizational guidelines.

  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Skills
  • Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods across all ages, along with a deep knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to foster effective interactions with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to align therapy techniques with the diverse backgrounds and needs of clients.
  • Solid clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities that drive positive outcomes.
  • Proficient in electronic medical records and adherence to documentation standards.
Benefits
  • Attractive compensation package reflective of experience.
  • Flexible work hours for a satisfying work-life balance and a diverse caseload.

  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • Support for continuing education and professional growth.
  • An amiable, collaborative workplace that prioritizes quality care and lifelong learning.

A Career Path That Inspires Both You and Those You Serve

In this significant role, you will not merely provide therapy; you will join a collective effort to inspire voices, enhance communication, and foster joy through shared understanding. You will collaborate with compassionate colleagues who treat each other like kin, in an environment that thrives on teamwork rather than rivalry. Each person you work with has a unique story; we trust you to help shape those narratives through the power of speech.

Whether you are launching your career or seeking new horizons, Boise is a canvas upon which you can paint both personal and professional growth.

Who We Seek

We are in search of a Speech Language Pathologist with a powerful blend of skill and compassion, someone who is not only outcome-oriented but also motivated by the potential of each individual they support. You might see a shy child and envision a path to self-confidence, or hear the fragmented speech of a stroke patient and sense the spirit of perseverance behind it.

Perhaps you are a pediatric expert wanting to expand your services to adults - or a clinician focused on neurorehabilitation looking to infuse early childhood intervention into your practice.

Whatever motivates you, if you are ready to dedicate your skills with heart and lead with expertise, you will find a warm, inclusive environment awaiting you.

Let's Articulate Your Future Together

If you perceive speech as an avenue for connection and believe in the power of compassion-driven therapy, if building trust means as much to you as meeting goals, and if you find joy in the interactions that lead to profound transformations, then this could be the beginning of an extraordinary chapter in your career.

Join us in a community that champions effective communication, connection, and the courage to support those starting anew. Apply now to lend your voice to our dedicated team - and empower others to discover their own.
