Staffing Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and personable Staffing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of staffing or recruiting experience , strong communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with both candidates and clients. Bilingual proficiency is required , and experience in staffing sales or business development is a strong plus.

The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM . Due to the nature of the staffing industry, the candidate must be flexible with their schedules and willing to occasionally adjust their hours based on business needs, client requirements, recruiting activities, or candidate needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, source, and identify qualified candidates for a variety of positions.
• Conduct candidate interviews, screenings, and skills assessments.
• Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Match candidates with job opportunities based on skills, experience, availability, and client requirements.
• Coordinate interviews, onboarding, and placement processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients.
• Communicate job requirements, schedules, pay rates, and employment expectations clearly.
• Maintain accurate candidate and placement records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Follow up with candidates and clients throughout the hiring and placement process.
• Assist with resolving employee or client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Meet recruiting, placement, and other performance goals.
• Support staffing sales and business development efforts when needed.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and generate new business.
• Maintain flexibility to accommodate changing staffing and client needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of staffing, recruiting, or workforce solutions experience.
• Bilingual in English and another language; Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interviewing, screening, and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or recruiting/ATS software.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and results-oriented.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to adjust working hours when business needs require it.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Staffing sales, business development, or account management experience.
• Experience working with high-volume recruiting or light industrial, administrative, professional, or skilled-trades staffing.
• Existing client or candidate relationships within the local market.
• Experience meeting recruiting, placement, sales, or revenue goals.

Work Schedule

Standard Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Schedule Flexibility: Flexibility outside of standard business hours may occasionally be required to support client needs, candidate interviews, staffing emergencies, recruiting events, or other business requirements.
