Pharmacy Technician II - Specialty

Pharmacy TechnicianThis position provides telephone support to pharmacy patients, providers and pharmacies ensuring that patients are eligible for and receive prescribed medications in an accurate and timely manner via appropriate delivery methods. This includes patient tracking, customer service, issue resolution and/or escalation.ResponsibilitiesComplete intake process for mail order, specialty, transplant, and limited distribution pharmacy patients including new patient enrollment, insurance verification, and medication refill and delivery schedule.Under the direction of the pharmacist, receive prescription/orders from patients, process manually or using the appropriate computer system and protocols in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with all legal, regulatory agency and Fairview requirements.Required QualificationsThree months pharmacy technician experiencePharmacy Technician MNPreferred QualificationsGraduate of Pharmacy Technician program1 year pharmacy technician experience in a call center environmentAs a part of our hiring process for our Pharmacy Technician roles, we will be reviewing your resume and may ask you to complete a job fit questionnaire as a next step.
