United Skates of America of Rhode Island, a roller‑skating facility located at 75 New Road, Rumford, RI 02916, is hiring Part‑Time Floor Guards. Responsibilities Provide a Clean, Fun, Friendly, and Safe experience to every guest. Know the rules of the facility and be able to enforce them diplomatically. Monitoring and maintaining the skate floor and skate counter before and after sessions. Supervising customers for safety protecting all skaters from injury preventing accidents . Communicate with the session manager, other associates, and DJ concerning any problems or safety issues during a session. Handle incident procedures and be alert to the (cause of surrounding incidents so you can document them later) Verify that all skating adults have signed Adult Waiver Cards (referred to as Skater Agreement Cards in RI), and for Skater ID cards, be sure to check for expiration dates. Complete all assigned clean‑up procedures and assist in other areas as needed or requested. Qualifications Must know how to skate. Willing to train! Bilingual in English/Spanish a PLUS.
