Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment to ensure reliable operations and minimize downtime. This role supports a safe and efficient work environment within an industrial pipe manufacturing and distribution facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and prevent unexpected downtime.
• Perform equipment repairs, adjustments, and installations as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service documentation, and repair reports.
• Work closely with operations teams to resolve equipment issues and improve equipment reliability.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of industrial maintenance technician experience.
• Experience with industrial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and industrial equipment repair.
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to workplace safety.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Night shift availability required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in industrial manufacturing, pipe, steel, fabrication, or industrial distribution environments.
• Familiarity with motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and production equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
