Doctor of Medicine | Radiology - Interventional Location: Lansing, MI Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Vascular & Interventional Radiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Lansing, MI Service Setting: Hospital Based Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Sep 01, 2026 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday Call Ratio: 1:3 PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Primarily Adult (Geriatric frequent) Average Daily Volume: 8 cases per day Case Mix: Angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, UFE; additional ortho, gyn, urology cases FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: Level I EMR System: Not specified Support Staff Available: Manager, two APPs supporting three Interventional Radiologists PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (fast track possible) Credentialing Timeline: 90 days (with fast track) REQUIRED PROCEDURES Angioplasty Stent placement Embolization Needle biopsy Thrombolysis UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization) Additional procedures: Ortho, Gyn, Urology cases JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (Required) Licenses: Active Michigan Medical License (IMLC/compact not accepted) Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Required) Other Qualifications: Local provider preferred; clean malpractice and license history; NPDB self-query required Duties & Responsibilities Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, biopsies, thrombolysis, and UFE. Provide hospital-based IR services during day-shift schedule (7 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday). Participate in Q3 call coverage, including every third weekday and every third weekend. Collaborate with a team of three interventional radiologists and two APPs to manage patient care. Consult with referring physicians on interventional radiology cases.
