Coverage Dates
December 21 (7am) - December 28 (7am)

Shift Details
24-hour call coverage with rounding, 7am-7am
Weekend coverage required as part of the schedule

Requirements
Board certified in Gastroenterology
Active Georgia license
Georgia DEA/CSR
BLS and ACLS
Clean malpractice and background for quick credentialing
Provider must be local; no flights

Required Procedures/Skills
Bread and Butter GI
ERCP training preferred

Assignment Details
24-hour call coverage with no clinic responsibilities
Inpatient rounding, procedures as needed, and ED and inpatient consult coverage
Coverage includes existing GI patients and new consults with handoff to local GI team
Five local gastroenterologists provide ongoing coverage outside locum shifts
196-bed acute care hospital setting
Level II Trauma Center
Adult inpatient population; pediatric patients seen in the ER only
EMR: Epic
