Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand family dynamics and individual mental health needs.

• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique situations of each client, addressing issues such as addiction, abuse, grief, and interpersonal conflicts.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for couples, as well as individual sessions for family members, focusing on open communication and understanding.

• Provide support and guidance during significant life transitions, including separation, divorce, and blended family dynamics.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes using our electronic health record system.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the organization to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Weill Cornell Psychological Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families facing a wide range of challenges. Our focus includes:

• Addressing alcohol and substance abuse.
\n
• Supporting individuals and families dealing with physical or psychological abuse.
\n
• Helping clients navigate grief and loss while fostering resilience.
\n
• Facilitating better communication among family members and addressing sibling conflicts.

• Guiding clients through job-related stressors and medical issues.
\n
• Assisting blended families in adjusting to new family dynamics.

• Providing therapeutic support during separation and divorce.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• A valid and active LMFT license in the state of California.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 – 100,000 per year, complemented by a generous benefits package that includes:
