Accounts Payable Manager

AP Manager $95,000-$120,000 ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is a leading international Law Firm! Notably the firm is recognized for it’s pro bono services This role would be operating on a hybrid basis in Midtown Manhattan and reporting into the accounting manager There is a really fresh perspective that’s been brought to the firm over the past few years! Very progressive and there is a lot of growth going on for the firm! Lead global Accounts Payable operations, ensuring efficient invoice processing, compliance, and attorney/staff support. Manage team performance, optimize workflows, and enhance automation. Responsibilities Oversee full-cycle AP, including vendor management, expense reimbursements, credit card transactions, and general ledger postings. Supervise and mentor the AP team, fostering efficiency and accuracy. Drive process improvements, leveraging automation and technology. Manage credit card processing, vendor reconciliations, and month-end close. Establish KPIs to enhance performance and compliance. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including 1099 preparation and sales/use tax reporting. Lead AP initiatives in system implementations and process improvements. Qualifications Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills. Expertise in accounting principles, AP software, and Microsoft Excel. Ability to manage high-volume workflows and communicate effectively. Bachelor’s in Business, Accounting, or Finance (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of AP experience in a corporate or professional services setting, including team management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
