Accounts Payable - Manager

A prestigious Hedge Fund is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager. This individual will be responsible for all accounts payable functions and assisting with expense booking approvals. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in financial services and have a good understanding of employee expense management. Job Responsibilities: Ensure that all company expense invoices received from vendors are properly coded to the general ledger, approved and entered in the accounting system in a timely and accurate manner on a set schedule and in accordance with company policies. Provides accounting assistance to project managers and operations staff; responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs. Act as system administrator for automated invoice processing system. Process and route invoices accurately, within established time frames and in compliance with all applicable policies; process and prepare checks, wires and ACHs for distribution. Create, maintain, and update vendor profiles and maintain records for all accounts payable transactions. Accumulate invoices for accruals at month-end and year-end. Manage T&E function by processing employee expense report through Concur. Additional responsibilities as assigned. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree. 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience in QuickBooks (expense report processing – Concur, QuickBooks and T&E). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Suite. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must be a team player and detail oriented.
