To support this growth, Katoen Natie Specialty Chemicals Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant for our La Porte, TX location. In this role, you are responsible for managing the company's financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end and year-end close activities, audit support, and financial analysis to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards. This role also partners with operational and business teams to analyze performance, improve financial processes and controls, oversee select accounts payable and expense management activities, and provide insights that support business decision-making.Best-in-Class Benefits:We value our employees' time and efforts. You'll experience a collaborative and inclusive work culture where innovation and teamwork are encouraged, and every contribution is valued.To be successful, you should have:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, account reconciliations, audit support, and variance analysis.Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP/Oracle Cloud required; advanced Microsoft Excel skills essential.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze complex financial data, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; experience in multi-entity logistics, warehousing, or industrial environments is a plus.Your responsibilities as the Sr Accountant will include:Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and company policies.Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and audit support.Develop management reports, KPIs, budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support business decisions and operational performance.Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and identify process improvement opportunities.Support day-to-day accounting operations, including expense management, corporate credit cards, purchasing compliance, and other ad hoc projects and administrative duties.Ready to Make an Impact?
