Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Alabama Special Education Certification, with preference for those already licensed in the state
• Minimum of one year’s experience providing teletherapy or virtual special education services
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, inclusion best practices, and diverse learning accommodations
• Tech-savvy, comfortable navigating various online teaching platforms and digital communication tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and school teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction to students requiring special education services in an inclusive, virtual setting
• Adapt and implement IEP goals, monitoring progress and reporting results
• Provide targeted interventions and accommodations tailored to individual student needs
• Communicate regularly with parents, support staff, and administration to ensure continuity of services
• Maintain accurate documentation, adhering to state and district guidelines
