Maintenance Assistant

In addition to our core facility and project management capabilities, our platform offers direct access to our Best-in-Class services, including ESG, Security Consulting, Workplace Strategy, and Workplace Experience. **What You'll Do:** + Respond to client inquires and concerns; ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering timely and quality service and follow up. + Create and assign work orders to multiple technicians, subcontractors and vendors. + Support problem solving. + Provide reports on open and closed work orders and check the status with the appropriate technician or vendor. + Maintain records including work orders, proposals, and department information. + Create vendor files and ensure accuracy of completed paperwork submitted. + Induct vendors on work order and billing procedures. + Process invoices and ensure accurate cost center coding. + Assist with the facility campus inspections. + Assist with process and procedure training. + This is not a comprehensive list of job requirements, additional tasks may be included. **What You'll Need:** + Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. + Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum of 2 two years of related experience and/or training. + Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and confidence to ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. + Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. + Ability to effectively present information to an internal department/ colleagues. + Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people. + Warm and engaging demeanor. + Basic analytical skills and understanding of financial terms and principles. + Capability of understanding and following general instructions and ability to solve problems. + Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word and Outlook. + Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads of 40 lbs. or more. + Decision making ability with a general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve goals and deadlines. + Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. The minimum salary for the Maintenance Assistant position is $40,000 annually, and the maximum salary for the Building Engineer position is $55,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
