DOE Benefits include health, dental, and vision (following 60 days of employment) Employment Type: Contract, Temp2Hire Schedule: Day 9/80 Location: Folsom, CA 95630 Job Code: JPC - 12294 Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Materials Management Partner to work on-site with our client, a global aerospace and defense company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits. This role coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts that include functions such as warehousing, shop and delivery services to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules. The Materials Management Partner II compiles data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.
• Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.
• Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.
• May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
• Keeps daily assembly production records.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED, Associates degree preferred
• 3 years Preferred comparable experience
• General knowledge of assembly, calibration, component installation, soldering, troubleshooting, and functional testing.
• Ability to lift/move heavy objects.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to understand and follow directions
• Organizational skills
• Clerical skills
• Detail oriented
• Must be eligible to obtain a Government Security Clearance
