We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Commissions specialist to join a team in Memphis, Tennessee. This position focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting activity, and ensuring commission information is tracked and verified with care. The ideal candidate brings hands-on bookkeeping experience, strong organizational skills, and confidence working with both payables and receivables.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain complete and accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and keeping account information up to date.
• Process vendor invoices, prepare payments, and monitor outgoing transactions to support timely accounts payable activity.
• Manage customer billing, apply incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances as part of accounts receivable support.
• Reconcile bank accounts and related financial records to identify discrepancies and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Review commission documentation, calculate earnings when needed, and verify statements for completeness and correctness.
• Assist with regular financial reporting by organizing accounting data and preparing supporting documentation for review.
• Work within QuickBooks to enter, track, and maintain accounting information efficiently and accurately.• At least 3 years of practical bookkeeping experience in a business environment.
• Proficiency using QuickBooks for day-to-day accounting and recordkeeping tasks.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice handling and payment coordination.
• Experience managing accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment posting, and balance tracking.
• Strong ability to complete bank reconciliations and resolve variances with accuracy.
• High attention to detail with solid organizational and time management skills.
• Degree not required; relevant bookkeeping experience and technical capability are the primary qualifications.
