Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Life Change Behavioral Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans that address the mental health needs of clients.

• Providing consultation in the formation of pre-crisis and crisis intervention plans, behavioral guidelines, and positive behavior support plans.

• Documenting client progress and treatment efficacy in compliance with regulatory standards, utilizing evidence-based screening tools as directed.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to implement treatment strategies, enhancing overall service delivery.

• Actively participating in licensing and accreditation reviews to uphold quality standards within our programs.

• Building relationships with community agencies and service systems to create pathways for resource sharing and client support.

• Engaging with local, state, and federal agencies to identify potential funding opportunities and partnerships.

• Taking initiative to pursue professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and community meetings relevant to mental health practice.

• Performing additional duties as directed by the Clinic Director to meet evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing mental health challenges, substance use issues, developmental disorders, and recovery from brain injuries. This role places a strong emphasis on personalized care and fosters resilience, community involvement, and holistic recovery programs.

Qualifications\n

The minimum requirements for this role include:

• A Master's Degree in a mental health-related field, encompassing psychology, counseling, social work, or a closely related discipline.

• An active, unrestricted LMHC license in the state of Massachusetts. If you hold an LMHC license from another state, Life Change Behavioral Center will support you in obtaining Massachusetts licensure.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, previous experience in telehealth services and familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health treatment will be advantageous. Additionally, a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
