We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Anderson Sport and Wellness in Hayward, California. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of each patient to develop individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals and timelines.

• Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises tailored to each patient's needs, integrating advanced technologies as applicable.

• Maintain clinical documentation and progress summaries to track advancements towards patient-specific health and rehabilitation goals.

• Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.

• Provide follow-up communication and support for current and prospective patients to encourage engagement and adherence to treatment plans.

• Participate in teaching small group fitness classes, promoting health education and injury prevention.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele is primarily composed of highly motivated individuals, athletes, and those aged 35 and above who are determined to regain or enhance their physical capabilities. The clinic also serves some elite and professional athletes, along with children and teens experiencing orthopedic conditions. We seek a therapist who enjoys working with clients who are proactive in their recovery journey and fully invested in their health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A valid and active California state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, with a proven background in manual therapy.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster patient relationships and establish trust.

• Commitment to ongoing professional education and development.

• A genuine desire to help clients achieve their wellness goals and improve their quality of life.

Preferred Experience

• Experience or certification in Pilates, NAIOMT training, or Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is preferred.

• Experience treating vestibular and post-concussion patients.

• Dual credentials as a Physical Therapist/Certified Athletic Trainer would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is competitive, with an annual salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000.
