Job Overview The Stewarding Supervisor is primarily responsible for coordinating and maintaining the cleanliness and proper inventory of all hotel china, silverware, and cookware. The role requires strong communication with Culinary and F&B, management skills, and the ability to understand and execute event orders for banquet functions. Responsibilities Polishes all required equipment including chafers, flatware, coffee and water pitchers Pulls and issues equipment as outlined on the function pull sheet completed by captains Ensures equipment is properly rotated for events Responsible for inventory of equipment: Daily: hollowware, chafers Alternating weekly: china, flatware, glassware Organizes/facilitates quarterly inventory of all china, glass, silver Maintains inventory logs and notifies Banquet Manager of shrinkage or discrepancies Prepares back‑aisle items for banquet functions Assists with traying salads, entrees, and desserts Keeps glassware organized and stores dishware in the proper location Monitors trash levels and removes when needed Ensures a clean working environment in the back hall and loading dock area through daily sweeping and mopping Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance Hourly Rate The hourly rate for this position is $25.55.
